Hi, having trouble finding information for this scenario.

My friend arrived in Australia on an ETA around April last year and subsequently lodged a partner visa.

The ETA ceased to be in effect and the Bridging Visa A kicked in after that.

Now my friend applied for and received a Bridging Visa B and is now overseas on holiday, returning in Feb.

What I just can't find out is because the travel is still within the "one year" period when it's supposed to be valid, when my friend returns, will my friend be still on the BVB on return or will the ETA somehow kick in again?

VEVO shows that my friend is currently holding a BVB that is in effect.

Am hoping someone who has experience in this will be able to clarify.

Thanks in advance for any info.

They will still be on the BVB. The ETA ceased to exist when it expired onshore.
