Hi Everyone,

Im hoping to get some feedbacks with regards to my FA600. This is what my VEVO stated -

VISA GRANT DATE : 30 August 2017
VISA EXPIRY DATE : 13 July 2018
LOCATION : ONSHORE
VISA STATUS : IN EFFECT
ENTRIES ALLOWED : Multiple entrees to and from Australia during
the validity of your visa
MUST NOT ARRIVE AFTER : 30 August 2018
PERIOD OF STAY : 03 months on each arrival
Condition of my Visa : 8101 & 8201

Does this mean i can leave, say 10th July 2018 and get another three months stay til 10th October 2018? I don't have 8558 or any other conditions except the 8101 & 8201 of my Initial Visa Grant.

Also , is there anywhere in the general Migration Rule that says an FA600 Tourist stream visa holders cannot stay more than 12 months in Australia?

To answer the second question, there is no law regarding staying more than 12 months. However, it is the Department's policy.

Thank you for your response. Yes, i have read the Migration Regulations 1994 and it doesn't restrict the FA600 tourist visa to be valid for 12 months. I also have confirmed with DIBP that i can come in to Australia before 30th August 2018 and and have another last three months' stay. Thereafter, i will need to apply for extension of the FA600 tourist visa stream , if i wish to stay in Australia further.
