Hey All,

My Fiance was filling in his 47SP, specifically his family information, when he pointed out that he isn't sure if he has any step sibling.

He is estranged from his father and his father recently got married to another woman. We know her details due to the wedding invitations he received and some google-fu but we have no idea if the lady has any children of her own and their details.

Should we somehow tell DIPB this? If so, how? We really would rather not open communication with his father to find out the information, and there is no guarantee his father would even give us the information if we did.

You can include a note saying 'hey, we've filled this out to the best of our knowledge, but due to an estranged relationship with 'partners dad' we do not have all the information on 'these people''. We had to do the same for my partners older siblings, and (so far) DIBP hasn't asked for any further info.
