Hello everybody

I'm currently on a student visa with my ex partner as a de facto dependent. We are no longer in a relationship. I'm about to apply for a 190 permanent, and I want to do it as a single, without any dependent. Should I remove her from the student visa before applying for the new one, or can I just proceed without removing her?
