hi hubby n I are English moved to NZ 4 years ago, now have friends that are returning to NSW permernantly and so we are considering our options. having seen stuff in the news about kiwis not getting any support if they loose their jobs in Aus I want to ensure I understand things correctly.
if we get citizenship in NZ we can live/work in Aus but still need to apply as skilled migrant for the permernant residency? there is no other way of becoming a resident from a NZ citizen? we have no family there and whilst we consider those moving over family they are not blood relations.
on the points thing I only score 55 without a job offer. being English am I still able to sit the IETS and gain more points for doing so?
thanks

Most English people have to sit ILETS in order to get the points.
Isn't there still an exemption for being educated in English.

"They have completed at least five years of full-time study in a secondary and/or higher education institution where all of the tuition was delivered in English"
