Hi everyone.

We are in the process of getting all evidence together for the 820 partner visa.

I am going to my home country in August and now something urgent has come up there and might have to stay longer

Do I just have to be back before October 29th when my WHV expires and the bridging visa is activated? Given that we apply before my trip back.

Do I need to do this even if I am still technically on my WHV? Another option for us is to wait and apply when I am back, which would maybe be closer to October, but I am afraid it might not look good coming back in, close to my visa expires. Thoughts?

If you apply for the 820/801, then go offshore and let your WHV expire, what visa will you have to let you back in?
