Hi guys,

I had applied my visa 820 on 4 April 2018, and yesterday I received email that required me to provide AFP police check and translated national ID.
I have a few question :
1. how we answering their request ? should we attach the requirement on immi account or we reply the email that CO had sent ?
2. aside for the attachment that request a police check and translated national ID, there is other attachment that state

"Information from another person or organisation
In this request we have asked you to provide information from another person or organisation about your health, your ability to satisfy public interest visa criteria (including your character and police history), your English proficiency, or your skills or qualifications. You are allowed to take longer than the period specified above to provide this information to us. You must provide us with evidence, within 28 days after you are taken to have received this letter, that you have requested the information from the other person or organisation. When the other person or organisation gives you the information you must then give it to us as
soon as possible.
If you do not reply within the timeframe specified above your application may be decided without the Department taking any further action to obtain the requested information. If you are unable to provide this information within this time you should contact us using the contact
details provided below."

I am confused in this. Do we need to do IELTS test for applying partner visa ?
Or it is just attachment as explanation for us since it was in different attachment from requested detail?

Thanks for answering.

Upload the additional documents through your ImmiAccount and send confirmation email to the case officer.

There are no English requirements for partner visas.

OR is the key word there. It's a generic statement meaning they've asked for at least one of those things listed.

Here are the instructions that come with an s56 Request, they are pretty clear.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Providing documents
Please upload all requested documents to your existing ImmiAccount using the instructions on our website www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Immi
To do this you will need to enter the Application ID, date of birth, passport number and country of passport for the main applicant. This is recorded on your acknowledgement letter.
Please note that once your documents are uploaded to your ImmiAccount a case officer is notified. Do not email attachments as this will cause delays in the processing of your application. We do not send acknowledgement advices for the receipt of attachments.
Please DO NOT:
✃ Upload the same document more than once
✃ Send an email informing us that you have uploaded the documents
✃ Send an email with the uploaded documents attached
✃ Send us original documents unless we ask you for them
No further action is required by you until contacted by a case officer.
Please note there is a limit to the type, size and number of files you can attach to each application. For that reason it is important that you do not upload the same document more than once (even for different document categories).
Your application allows a maximum of 60 files to be attached and once a file has been attached to your application it cannot be removed or deleted.
If you provide us with fraudulent documents or claims, this may result in processing delays and possibly your application being refused.
If you are unable to provide this information within this timeframe you should attach to your ImmiAccount an explanation of why the information cannot be provided within the timeframe and also attach evidence showing attempt(s) you have made to obtain the information.
Thank you for answering :)
In attachment that been sent by CO, in "request checklist and details" part, they just ask for police check and my translated national identity card.
So, do I just need to provide those ?
However, in "immi s56 request for more information" it has stated those I have posted. So, I should take a test ? or do another medical check ? or provide my qualification ?
Thanks again for helping.
Now I understand. I thought I am required to provide english test or any other qualification as it was attached in "s56 required more information"
I will attach the police check and translated national ID card to immi account.
Thank you so much.
