GSM 175 - Stamps in Passports ? UK & Chinese

Yay ! We've had our GSM 175 visas granted. It says in the letter they give us that it depends on which country your passport is whether you need to get it stamped or not.

Me and the kids had UK passports and my wife has a Chinese passport - does anyone know if we need to get the stamps.

The link they give for the Shanghai office is a provate company and it doesn't mention whether or not you need a stamp.

I would actually like a stamp; makes it feel more real and risk free. What a nighmare it would be to arrange everthing to migrate to the other side of the world for them to only say "sorry ou can't come in - no stamp. !"

They wouldn't say so, your details are in customs system as soon as visa is approved. For a UK passport I wouldn't bother to get a stamp, just print the grant letter and keep it for reference (they don't even need that but bring it as safety net).

Congrats :)
