We applied for a BVB on 18/6 for my British partner to go home to visit family and the proposed travel date was 2/7. We applied for partner visa 820 in May 2017 and got an email a few days ago saying it is progressing. I assume this is just a routine email and we shouldn't expect the visa any sooner than processing times at time of application? Is there a specific number I can call to enquire about the BVB as we have waited 16 days and the proposed travel date has passed?
