I applied for citizenship in Feb 2022 and just got the invitation for test & interview in late August.
My question is - I just give birth to a baby in early July. How do I update the Department of Home Affairs?
I followed their link for updating my circumstances and it only indicated my baby's citizenship status after answering a few questions, without telling me exactly what to do next to update that I now have a baby.

If you are a permanent resident inside Australia when you gave birth, the child is already an Australian citizen.

On the invitation letter it says “You must let us know about any changes to your circumstances as soon as possible. This includes changes to your name, contact details, address or information about children included in your application.” So I thought I needed to update them about my newborn?

The new born is automatic Australian citizen so he/she doesn’t not include in the application
