Hi there everyone!

We jsut got back from a month visiting my parents and family in Melbourne, and it's a bit of a shock to be back here.

While at home (my home!) we made the HUGE decision that YES, we are going to go and live in Melbourne.

My two sons have both already got australian citizenship/passports so I've just downloaded all the info/forms for my british husband's Partner Visa ..

and I must say, I shed a tear when I saw how complicated it is. :(

Hi and good luck!! We went via the spouse route ourselves....Wife is an Aussie..It wasn't overly difficult, if you just take care of one thing at a time. It can seem mind blowing if you look at the big picture. just do each thing in order and "read through the notes very carefully!!" It's all in there just don't skip sections ( there's a booklet on the Aus Gov website) and keep referring to it as you go through. It's a little stressful but sounds like you've got it bagged...Hopefully..cross fingers for you.

Good luck!!
