My name is Cem.I m Turkish citizen and i m studing under 573 visa in Melbourne last 4 years.
I have a girlfriend since 2012 June ,we been living together since November.
We started to pay ours rent and bills on a joint account since when we movie in together..
My student visa will expired 2014 August but i want to apply partnership visa
I downloaded some booklet about it. i think visa 801-820. these is 12 mounts request ..

I have few questions.
First off all when should i apply?
i want as soon as possible may be June or August but my girlfriend heard something she is worried about my student visa that would be a problem?when it get expired we can apply new visa?

Any otherthing useful?
i collect festival consert tickets we use to go,many pictures and thousands of facebook massage ready to print..

And Forum and immigration web site so complicated ,
is better things to go agency instead of doing all paper works ourselves?
and how much is agency cost? i think only visa cost over then 4grand how much normaly agents charge ?

Thank you

Do not apply until your student visa is about to expire. (Apply RIGHT before it expires) This gives you more time to gather and build evidence so that you have a stronger case. You will be granted a bridging visa to stay in australia once your student visa expires and until your partner visa is decided.

If you get a migration agent, you still have to do a lot of work... But if you are having difficulty with the immigration web sites and the forums, it's probably your best bet. It would be terrible to be denied your visa because you misunderstood the requirements. Agents can be expensive though... But better to pay an agent then waste 4 thousand dollars on a visa only to get denied.

In the meanwhile, keep all receipts with both your names on them - and ask people to put both names on receipts. Whenever you buy something expensive, stay in a hotel, book a tourist trip etc, make your both names go on the tax invoice.
Put each other as beneficiaries on your superannuation accounts.
Keep copies of bills you pay together. Make sure you are both putting money into the joint account and make sure you can prove this with receipts or account statements.
Immigration does not want thousands of facebook messages. Or lots of pictures. These are not considered strong evidence anyway. Include a small amount of these.
Keep the envelopes of any mail addressed to you both. Keep one envelope per month addressed to each person. The first proves people consider you a couple, the second proves that you are both actually living at the same address.
Make sure you are both on the lease for your apartment.
If you have a car, make sure you are both on the insurance to drive it.
Keep receipts for presents you buy each other.
Keep any invitations you receive in both names (and the envelopes)... For example to parties or weddings
Keep a copy of any form you fill out where you say "in a de facto relationship" and have to give your partners details. For example, tax forms or next of kin forms, or emergency contact forms.

You are very lucky that you have until August 2014 to apply... And smart for looking into the requirements now. You have a long time to get good, solid evidence together.

Good luck.
