Seeking advice from the forum. My situation is as follows

I hold a valid Business Visitor visa to Australia. Recently my work permit also got approved. Now I'm required to travel to Australia for a business visit for couple of days. Plan to return back to India after the business visit. My employment in Australia got delayed by few months and wont begin until after couple of months from my return.

Question: Which visa shall to use (BV or WP).

I'm told that Business Visa is automatically voided by DIBP upon approval of Work Permit 457 visa. Is this true.

Whichever visa was granted last, is the visa you now hold. If your 457 visa was the latest visa granted, it would have replaced whichever visa you held before.
