Hi Everyone;

I'm very confused about how many years ACS would deduct from my overseas word experience.

I got Bachelor degree at "Information Systems" (Egypt) with subjects in programming, network and database management. it's 4 years study institution not a college. The Job ID I'm planning to apply for migration is " Computer Network and Systems Engineer"

My graduation since June 2005 but I got work experience certificates since 2007 only which gives me about 11 years of experience. Would they deduct from my work experience 2,3 or 4 years ?

I need full 8 years after deduction to get the full points.

Any expert help will be so much appreciated. Thanks

Apart form the status of your qualification, the information you need is on the ACS website.

Without reviewing your academic qualifications and work experience certifications, it is not possible to offer a considered opinion.

Well, I'm asking cause I heard some rumors that ACS always deduct 4 years of your work experience even if you bachelor is matching the applied job id. this case will be only if you're graduated from an institution not a college.

Or so these rumors are wrong and they only check your transcript file with the subjects that has been studied and match it with the applied job?

Their website say something and the real cases is another believe me.

That's why I'm worried to apply for 11 years of exp and they deduct 4 years. that will affect my points score.
