Hi there,

I have to decide between the partner visa and post-graduate visa and I need to sort out the following question very soon for this:
I am not sure how do we calculate the 92 study weeks and my visa agent gives confusing info about this.
My Master of Accounting course is registered on the CRICOS for 104 study weeks (and 2 years). It has 16 subjects, and my understanding is that I will still meet the 92 study weeks requirement if I do 15 subjects and not 16, because: 104/16=6.5 and 6.5*15=97.5 study weeks.
Is my calculation right?
My visa agent is saying that strictly speaking I have to complete all the 16 subjects to meet the requirements for the postgrad visa, and it really depends on the case officer's discretion whether they will grant me the visa or not. But I also know that the visa agent gets a certain percentage after each subject I pay and it is important for me if I really have to pay 15 or 16 subjects. Please help!

Many thanks!
