Hello

My current visa is Bridging Visa A whilst on the wait to get my remaining relative visa approved.

I'm not focusing on remaining relative visa as it has indifinite time period until DIBP makes decision.

I applied for a work permit so i can continue my life in Australia.

The first one was rejected a few months ago but the second one has just been approved.
At this moment my visa has no restriction. I can study, work and live lawfully in Australia until they make a final decision on my remaining relative visa.

How to get a Tax File Number and while waiting until my TFN being issued, is it legal for me to work?

You can work while you wait for your TFN.

The best advice I can give is to know your rights ie. the award rate, your entitlements etc. Some employers will try to pay you cash and not withhold tax and pay you a lower hourly rate too. Also some will try to get you to apply for an ABN so that they don't need to pay your sick pay, withhold tax etc.
