Dear Wandrere,

As you already know i applied on Nov. 2007 for 175. I was contacted today by the case offices saying i am refused because i got on ILTS 5.5 and not 6 in reading. I submitted the ILTS around 3 years ago. My question, can i lodge a complain or what to do. Please note that my marks on ILTS 3 years ago, where to the standard they asked for.

Please help

As far as I know Immi would be assessing applications against eligibility requirements as they were at the time of application and though there has been a ministerial statement which referred to lesser standards for applications earlier than September 2007 that were to be capped and ceased, I'm not aware of any move to have later applications rejected on similar grounds but then I never claim to know all of what they are up to.
In the first instance you ought to check with Immi to confirm what their current approach is either by an email to your CO if that is possible or an email to the GFU you can find under the Immi page contact links.
As to appealing, there is a reference @ General Skilled Migration and though that page comes from a 175 link and there does seem to be an inference that it is for an onshore application in that it mentions time to leave Australia.
I'll see if I can find out something further.

Re the above link, did you read
You will also be advised if you are eligible to seek a review of the decision made and the time you have to do so or your time limit to depart Australia.
Have you been advised you are eligible to seek a review? or are you just on a wild goose chase?
