Which condition are you concerned about? And what do you mean by " VEVO no good"?Looking for way to contact immigration about a student visa which has been granted. Want to check condition as think they are wrong. Website does not give Vevo no good either
VEVO is not for asking questions, it is for checking visa status and visa conditions. Are the visa conditions on VEVO the same as in the grant letter? Doest the grant letter state that there is a work restriction ? Maybe you can post all the conditions here ?Work for husband as postgraduate he should have full work rights. Also as postgraduate visa should be 6 months longer. Nowhere on Vevo to ask questions

Alternatively email me the grant letter, so I can have a look. I can then send you some contact details privately, which I will not publish here.
I believe it is the other way around, Wesley ? Or am I misinterpreting this ?To have unrestricted work rights, the post grad course must be by research, not coursework, otherwise work restrictions apply to the student and to family members.
Don't worry about annoying them; it's their job. Under GFU you can tick "inquiry" instead of "complaint". They tend to be very helpful. Thanks so much for the replies
I am not querying my work restriction I know I can only work 40 hours a fortnight and don't think I could manage more with study. It is my husband's rights I am querying and my read was that he should be unlimited as per your quote. Is a complaint the way to go don't want to annoy them the other issue is length of visa.
thank you so much for responding. Just one final thing. Am I best to wait until I am over there before lodging the query or before I go. I don't want to upset things. My husband will be following me a couple of months later so we have a bit of time. I did look at the online form and there is no inquiry tick just complaint, suggestion or compliment.Don't worry about annoying them; it's their job. You're right, there is no inquiry option. Before lodging a complaint, contact the student visa centre and ask for an explanation first. I can send you the email address.thank you so much for responding. Just one final thing. Am I best to wait until I am over there before lodging the query or before I go. I don't want to upset things.
