Hello everyone,

My korean girlfriend will apply for a 485 graduation visa in a couple of months and we are considering to include me as her partner.

The problem is we're currently living apart, i'm in italy and she, of course, lives in NSW.

We met in jan 2017 while i was there with working holiday visa and we dated in australia for about 6 months (3 of which living together).
After that i had to leave australia because my visa expired and we kept our relationship as long distance, meeting in australia for 3 weeks in jan 2018 and in italy in june 2018, again for 3 weeks.

I think we do not meet the requirements for applying, but she said a lawyer told her we can.

Based on your knowledge and experience you have, can you give me your opinion about it?

From what you posted, this is probably correct.

Hi Sand, I think that it should be fine as long as you have proofs to show that it is a genuine relationship such as photos, videos, WhatsApp & FB records, joint bank accounts, joint rental agreement, etc.
