My fiancée is coming for our wedding she has a PR we will apply for 309 offshore visa together but she has to leave after 20 days as he has a job to look for .
I want to ask is it important for her to be present offshore all that time when the case been processed i mean we can lounge the application together .
she cant just leave her job yah she can come when if the visa being granted .

Do you have an idea how many times they call for an interview during that time

Please guide me in this regard.

Thanks

I reckon you may want to have a good read of the all the information via Family - Visas & Immigration
For a PR to sponsor a partner it is stated they should be in Australia and as being in Australia and residing with an applicant is a bit difficult to achieve when the applicant is overseas, that is why the regulations include the PMV.

There are allowances re culturual processes of marriage if an applicant is from somewhere like India and if so you are better off to address the people in India as to what they will accept to meet the eligibility requirements for which a basic requirement is nominally a relationship of residing together for six months.

Thanks for ur reply i am from Pakistan and we want to get marry there cause of our cultural norms so all the other families can join us .I have read that temporary visa can be apply both onshore and offshore right now i am in Australia having 456visa with a restriction of NO Further stay. i know we cant marry here isit so? or sitll we can while i have this restriction can you please look into this as well.
We have decided to go back to my country have marriage there and apply for the partner temporary and permanent visa i.e 309 and 100 after applying she will come to Austrlia to continue her job and can revisit when they call for an interview .

Can it be done this way or both has to be present all the time since the apply offshore or onshore.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

If you are here for long enough you can arrange with the reqyired documentation to get married here but with a No Further Stay condition you can not apply for another visa here including the partner visa.
Re going back to Pakistan to marry, you still need to have a thorough read of the eligibility information including the Booklet#1 for if you cannot show sufficient evidence of a relationship, you may have problems getting a visa approved, it just being the way the regulations are and that does not always mean what people may want to do is the best thing for them.
It could be far less stress for you to apply for the PMV and do the official marriage here and perhaps your culture will allow both your familys to get together in Pakistan to celebrate a pre wedding betrothal, a commitment to oneanother without the marriage.

Your sponsor being in Australia can remain in Australia and there will be no need for her to return to Pakistan for an interview and if you check the application section details it could be that you will need to send your application to Bangkok.
