Hi, I'm sponsoring my husband for a partner visa, and have almost finished my sponsor application. On the last page there's a question "Have you ever had an outstanding debt to the Australian government?".
Most technically speaking, I had to make a repayment last year, less than $300, to Centrelink after they decided I was paid incorrectly in 2014. However it got just a few days (definitely less than a week) overdue, ironically because it was the same time we were trying to complete my husband's visa application and I didn't have the headspace to deal with both Immigration and Centrelink at the same time.
Would it count, would any of the professionals here suggest I include it? I don't want him kicked out the country because of my pathetic version of a grievous ill, but I don't want him kicked out the country for my "Dishonesty" either :/
