Can anyone please confirm that this IS the correct postal address to forward my original AFP - National Police Check certificate to as I have recently been asked to provide additional info for my: Stage 2 - Permanent Partner Visa Assessment (801).

Partner (Permanent) Processing Centre Melbourne
Department of Immigration and Border Protection
GPO Box 241
Melbourne VIC 3001

thanks in advance, Justin.

Hi thanks for reply.. my letter of:

Request for Information for Visa Application - Outstanding 2 Year
Documents for a Partner (Residence) (class BS) Partner (subclass 801) visa

Specifically states regarding, National Police Certificate (NPC) from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) in Canberra:

Important information to note for all applicants:

· Do not request the police certificate be forwarded directly to the Department of
Immigration and Border Protection. The certificate will be sent to you and you will need to
send it to the department.

I had to send my original police check to an overseas post. I'd already uploaded the original as well. I just googled the address of the Melbourne office and it's
Postal address
GPO Box 241
Melbourne Vic. 3001

If there's a name and position number (even if it's only a first name) but that (especially the position number) in the attention tab. That will help ensure the correct person receives your mail and it doesn't end up in the wrong area. Put your reference number etc as well.

Melbourne Vic. 3001
