Can we leave Australia on a bridging visa C?
This visa was granted to be within 28 days after my previous visa expired? Will a re-entry ban apply? Please suggest. I am scared to death right now. :(

Thanks

You are not allowed to travel with a bridging visa C. If you leave Australia, your BVC becomes invalid and you cannot re-enter the country,

Thanks for your reply.
I understand the visa will be invalid. I have a PhD application under review and will probably get an offer letter soon. Now I obviously can’t apply for a new student visa onshore. So I want to leave now with a bridging visa C and apply for a new student visa offshore. Can I do that?

Yes, but I strongly advise that you consult one of the registered migration agents who posts on this forum for a case assessment, before you commit to a course of action,

Due to the war, you might find it impossibleto satisfy immigration that you have sufficient incentive to return home before a visitor visa expires.
