I will apply for a Partner Visa for my Filipino partner if I can be fairly sure it will be granted. We have lived together for 2 years and can provide proof of our relationship.
I will be back in Australia in April and she will apply from Philippines unless there is a better way to do it.
She is still married, although has lived apart from her husband for 6 years and as there is no divorce allowed in the Philippines she is legally still married.
Will the fact that she is still legally married affect our chances of getting a Partner Visa or can we provide evidence that her marriage was finished 6 years ago?
Thanks for any advice.
