Hi,

Need help of the experts on Australia Forum

Background Info:
I have B.Tech mechanical engineering(2003-07) & 2.5 years(2007-10) mechanical engineer work ex
And M.Tech Industrial engineering(2010-12) & 5.5(2012-till date) years as business operations analyst and data scientist

Need:
I need to provide 5 partner points for skilled migration 189, hence I am only interested in clearing the skills assessment, I don't need any work experience assessment points.

Questions:
Would standard CDR provide me the skill assessment or it is mandatory for me to undergo relevant employment assessment as well?

Also, which skill should I apply for, Mechanical engineering or Industrial engineering? I would personally prefer Industrial engineering but a little hesitant if they reject it claiming my bachelors is different (though mechanical & industrial are very closely related)

Finally, I am planning to write all 3 of my career episodes based on academics only (this will save some paper work for me, plus I am not comfortable writing career episode for mechanical engineering job). Will it create any problems/suspicion in assessing officer?

Thanks a ton in advance!!
