Hi all,

I need advise. I have made a stupid mistake when uploading docs for my permanent partner visa (801).

When I submitted the written part of the application the page that I was directed to didn't have the specific categories of required evidence and only the 'extra'. It was only when I logged back in that it refreshed and I was able to see this.

SO, I started uploading in the extra supporting doc part, but was also really stupid and didn't click through to the link stating that uploads couldn't be deleted, nor did I see that only 64 docs were allowed. :(

SO, I am now left with a visa application with individual uploads in the wrong categories, I have merged pdf's and uploaded all witness stat decs together, for example and I will upload some more in my partners section (that doesn't have categories).

All of the info is there, it is just really poorly organised and I worry that it will be confusing for the case manager.

Has anyone every done anything this silly and have advice? If I delete this and start a new application I am afraid that it will effect my current visa?

Thanks so much, I hope this makes sense.

Hi Natalie,
If you are not sure the case officer will understand what you did with the documents you have two options,
1. Explain it in a letter and upload it to your IMMI account.
2. If you were given an email address at the acknowledgement letter of your visa, please email an explanation to the officer.
good luck!

Don't worry I did that too. I was told by immigration as long as it's correct documentation they will open and read it as long as they are documents are named correctly.

Or the case officer will contact if they need something otherwise dnt worry. I left mine like that. Do not duplicate and put in right columns just live it as it is. They will find it.
