Hi, I am posting here for the first time. I am a Pakistani living in Pakistan. I got married in October 2013. My husband is also a Pakistani but he has Australian passport. He never went back to Australia after 2013. He applied my PR which I got in April 2016 but was expired in April 2017 because I couldn't go to Australia.
I had my baby in Feb 2016 and my husband applied for his citizenship as well. He got the citizenship after few months. Australian embassy mailed us the papers. I have been separated from my husband since Dec 2016. Now I want to get my baby's Australian passport but I don't have his citizenship papers because my husband has them and he will never give them to me. My son is just one and a half year old so he can't get them as well. I cannot apply for his Pakistani passport without his fathers involvement and I don't think that his father will cooperate. I just want my sons Australian passport so that we can travel. I do not wish to take him to Australia or get settled in Australia. I just want to travel. Can anyone help me out with this, that how can I get his Australian passport?
Also if an Australian citizen is involved in domestic violence in another country, are there any rules to get him punished there?

Hi Mehakzahra, try to contact Australian Embassy to get another copy of Citizenship Certificate as baby's mother, then apply Australian Passport after you get that copy.
