Hello every one

well long story short

my wife is an australian citizen
we got married in germany in january 2018 (i'm syrian citizen )
she is pregnant and will give birth after 2 months

we applied to partner visa

Family - Stage 1
Received
Reference
TypeStage 1 - Partner or Prospective Marriage Visa (300,309/100,820/801)
Estimated Processing Time21 months to 26 months


the time line is :
application submitted on 07 Mar 2018
health check on 21 mar 2018

when we applied for the visa the waiting time was between 12 to 16 months

afterwards it became from 16 to 19

couple days ago i went to check my immi account and there were the surprice the processing time is from 21 months to 26 months !!

i called the embassy in berlin the told me to call the global center

i did called them the saied that they can't give me any further informations

and we have to wait

i tried to apply for a Visitor Visa (600)

i couldn't pass the check your passport information when i called the global center they saied that my german travel document isnt accepted i need an australian travel document ! what the heck !!

i don't understand what kind of law is this

any help advice ?

Can always try the ETA 601 if just going for a visit.

The call center is known for giving unreliable or incorrect information that directly contradicts the immigration website.
well Iam not eligible for 601 visa because iam not a german citizen . i just hold a german travel document its like a passport in EU

What passport do you hold? Generally immigration eligibility and processing is based on the citizenship of your passport.

my bad i didnt mention that before

I'm syrian holding a german travel document . my syrian pasport expired and i cant renew it or apply for a new one
