Hello,

Currently I'm in relationship with Australian man since December 2016, but we meet a year before we decided to be in relationship.

Me and my partner genuinely plan to build our family in Australia by 2019 (mid year), and we've been visiting each other ever since we're in relationship. Oh btw, I pay my own visa and my flights to see him, vice versa. We know our circle friends and families also we attended best friend's wedding and gatherings.

Now, I still live in indonesia and have good position in one of MNC which I might get chance also to transfer to Australia once my project in Indonesia finished (target by early 2019). These will be a big bonus for me when I could be closer with my partner and get job at the same time. My partner knows this as well and he dont mind about this for short plan until we have kids. Still our priority is to live closer.

My question are, should I apply PMV 300 instead of sub class 309?
And if I apply for partner visa, would it be a risk if I live in Sydney while my partner in Brisbane?

Looking forward to hear from you and thank you in advance!

Best regards!

** That is greater than 12 months required for a de facto.

Me and my partner genuinely plan to build our family in Australia by 2019 (mid year), and we've been visiting each other ever since we're in relationship.

** Plans are good for 300, 309 and 820 if documented by email or other is better.

Oh btw, I pay my own visa and my flights to see him, vice versa. We know our circle friends and families also we attended best friend's wedding and gatherings.

** No so good for combining finances, but attending functions in public is good.

Now, I still live in indonesia and have good position in one of MNC which I might get chance also to transfer to Australia once my project in Indonesia finished (target by early 2019). These will be a big bonus for me when I could be closer with my partner and get job at the same time.

*** Not sure of a MNC but that seems a work goal not a relationship goal - also being closer to partner make it seem less genuine.

My partner knows this as well and he dont mind about this for short plan until we have kids. Still our priority is to live closer.

*** Kids is a good thing to have documented plans about - still that closer seems a bad word.

My question are, should I apply PMV 300 instead of sub class 309?

*** That will depend on the documented evidences in the 4/5 catagories you have.

And if I apply for partner visa, would it be a risk if I live in Sydney while my partner in Brisbane?

*** Both the PMV and Partner Visas are so you can live together in Australia, so I think it would be a issue that would need to be fully looked at and discussed with a Registered Migration Agent.

Thanks for your quick responded and your point of view is highly appreciated.

You are right, I should use better terms to described our situation. Indeed our will to live together and no separate by long distance anymore as its a bit painful
