Hello!
Applied February 21 2018 for 820.
A couple days ago (August 12 2018) received an email for my partner (Australian sponsor) to send in his clearance from when he lived overseas. Feels good to have had communication from offices even if it’s minor.
I have read that once the sponsor is approved it’s a good sign that the ball has started rolling!

Ottawa Timeline

I applied in Dec 2017 and have been assigned a case officer in Ottawa in March.
They requested medicals and some documentation which was all completed by April.

Have not heard anything since.

I have applied for my partner visa 309 in Iraq early may. Then end of July I was requested for applicant's form 80, sent 6th August and now waiting...! Its very difficult as the processing time has doubled and don't know what is going on, I am just hoping it will go down very soon.
