Many thanks for your kind welcoming message!
Welcome back. I am currently applying for my husband to return to Australia under a spouse visa. We have been married for almost 18 years. The cost is $7000. We submitted Jan 11 2018 and am still waiting. We have 3 children and it is very disheartening. Good luck :)

Is your relationship registered? If not, don't bother applying now as you don't meet the requirements for a partner visa yet.
Hey, welcome home! Excited to hear about your adventures back in Philippines!
Apart from living with my wonderful partner for more than 2 years in Santa Rosa, Laguna, I visited Hundred Islands, Pangasinan, which was just amazing, Puerto Galera, Mindoro, which was beautiful and Cebu, a place I really liked. Many smaller places, too, but they were the major places.

I love the Filipino people, warm and friendly except they always think I am American and call out "Hey, Joe!" to me.:p but I can live with that!

It's now time to bring my partner to Oz and let her experience my way of life and I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed being in her country.

Hello

everyone i came on this forum because i really need advice on many aspects on my life right now. as of right now i have not started any process but really confused with the many visas in Australia. I am a 39 year old Canadian who has decided and is hoping to move to Australia for a new start. so i guess my question is where do i start? I have a BA in psychology and i have worked in the field for over 5 years. i have a 16 year old son who will join later and a finance from cameroon who would also love to come to Australia.

i guess my question is where do i begin with the process of relocation to Australia Please.

It is great to hear you had so much fun staying in the Philippines, not all Aussies find it easy to adapt to our way of living. I am sure your partner will love Oz, another wonderful country to live. Goodluck on your journey and visa application. Cheers!
Hi Everyone,

Good day.

It is great to be a part of a helpful site as this. Thank you for sharing all your experiences.

My husband and I lodged our 309 thru an agency.

DOL: June 7, 2017
Medical done: 2nd week of June 2017
Additional requirements requested: September 2017, which we were able to supply 2 weeks after.

Since then, I have not heard anything. After my 309 was lodged our agent also lodged a tourist visa so I can be with my husband while waiting for the 309 decision. In 3 days time, the tourist visa has been granted. It was a multiple entry visa valid for a year with 3 months maximum stay.

I left Philippines on June 29, 2017, I exit Australia before I even reach the 3rd month. Now, I am back in the Philippines and feeling very anxious of not knowing what to do and being away from my husband. I am tossing between going back to Australia on the same tourist visa which will expire on June this year or wait till the decision for the 309 comes out. Anyone out there who are in the same timeframe as ours?. We are currently on our 9th month of waiting and this waiting game is so hard. Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.

Finally! I am so grateful for the very great and exciting news I received last Monday.
