Hi everybody! :)

I'm Sans from Germany. My husband is Australian and we have lodged our partner visa application in April 2018.

Since it's a long and uncomfortable process, I'm hoping for some helpful exchange here. Everything is easier when you're not alone.

Best,
Sans

Hi Sans, welcome! I’ve been waiting 17 months now for a partner visa for my husband through Pretoria, South Africa. It’s certainly a long painful tough journey and you are not alone! I hope you get some positive news soon 🙂

Hi everyone :) My name is Holly, I'm Canadian and I've applied for my partner visa, I lodged the application in Nov.2018.

10-13 months!! Thats great news! When I log into my immi account it says 'received' and says 20-26 months.

Question about the medical exam- I was putting it off until I was under the 12month decision period as they are only valid for 12 months, and I was avoiding the cost and hassle of doing it twice. I have been provided a HAP ID number, so maybe I should just do it now and cross my fingers. Has anyone had to end up doing it twice due to expiry date?

Thank you all, I read all of the posts and its been very helpful in a painful and patient process

The 820 Onshore visa is showing 20-26, ie: 75% under 20 months at the moment.

The 309 Offshore visa is showing 14-19, ie: 75% under 14 months at the moment.

These times are actuals for those processed in the month of January.

It varies a lot depending on where the applicant is from, and if everything is submitted on time, and correctly. Some people might wait longer while Immigration wait for them to upload everything.

Hi everyone!

It's nice to meet all of you. I've only signed up last night and I'm so happy to be here and finally being able to interact with you guys.

I lodged may partner visa in June 2017, and have been granted 801 (PR) just last week. All the best to all of you. It's just a waiting game now. Don't lose hope :)

Cheers! :)
