Hey,

I'm currently living in the Netherlands, but will go to Australia soon on a working holiday visa (sc 417). The problem is that I do not have enough time to get my driving license.
Is this going to be a problem, like, is it necessary to have one? Or is public transport wide enough to get around with?

Which part of australia you be coming to first ? i can only share my experience in WA. I think you can get a WA drivers license but provided you have to go through the process of getting one. Read these links

Depends where you will live really. A friend of mine does not drive and she has no issues getting around at all - she lives in Brisbane about 15 minutes from the city.
