Hello everyone,
I graduated with a degree in Actuarial Science and was unsuccessful in securing any work while on my 485 graduate visa. 1 year later, I decided to do a one year Honours program in Commerce (Finance). This was purely because in the event of going back to my country. A three year degree is unheard of and I might have trouble convincing employers to hire me.
I have 65 points to apply for 189/190 visa but my problem is getting a positive skill assessment through Vetassess with Actuary as my nominated occupation. I would require one year work experience. I cannot get work because the positions require PR. I cannot apply for 457 working visa because I don't have a sponsor. What other options are out there? For the record I am open to moving. In addition, I am doing my masters in accounting. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you. Ash.
