Obsessive immiaccount checking.....

903 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  HRose313
Fellow patient waiters: do you always get an email when something happens with your application?

Is it worthwhile to obsessively log in to immiaccount every morning to see if something - anything! - has happened? Or just sit back and take a breath, wait for an email?

When I first applied for the 820 the wait times were around 12-15 months, and there were no spurts of grants for people waiting 1-5 months like there are now. So it was easier for me to go for a month at a time without checking in the beginning because I knew no changes would occur for a while.

Now, I check immi every few days and am sure to check my email everyday in case something ends up in spam. I suggest doing what SkyblueBrewer wrote and resign to checking immi and your email spam folder once a week; it will probably make things easier for your stress wise in the long run!
