Hello, We lodged our 309 application ( India ) on 14th January 2019. RFI - 9th October 2019 with a 14 day deadline to submit all documents. We were asked to submit almost all the docs under the important criteria , but it said “ Pre- assessment intimation “. Today is our 14th day and I am just writing to know if anyone had a similar situation and about their grant timeline.
Thanks

Yes we did. But the RFI was just a intimation saying “ if you haven’t already submitted any of these, please upload within 14 days “.

Hello, I've submitted the 309/100 application for my husband on 30/9/2019. Is there any forms that I need to complete as a sponsor? I've called to Australian Consulte earlier, but the lady didn't give me an answer.

Thanks everyone for your help

The sponsor must do the sponsor section of the application online.

The bit shown below saying Sponsorship for a partner to migrate to Australia (300, 309.. etc)

I've seen three 309 grants recently for people from Hong Kong.

14.0 months, but with an 18 month overstay issue that needed resolving.
17.8 months, but applied in Korea.
4.7 months, nothing unusual mentioned.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are well.
I am new to these forums so thought to communicate with more people around who are in same position as us.
I am an Australian Citizen, got married on October 14,2018
Date of Visa Application:- January 21st 2019
Received an email from New Delhi Office on 15/10/19 as s56 request for more documents, most of those docs were already provided so I replied to email. I was asked to fill online 40sp (even though I attached 40sp and I even replied to email that its already attached, I decided to do online version anyhow, just submitted, its showing submitted)
status of file is:- Further assessment

What you guys think? Any issue here? any idea whats next from here?

The online sponsorship application is mandatory, not optional. I figured this out months after lodging my wife's original application and I am at Further Assessment, like yourself. Just a matter of time I hope.

No issue here, next steps are to wait until you either get asked for more information or you receive that golden email..

If your sponsorship application changes from "Submitted" to anything else, let us know.

Yes, I actually realized it by going through some of the forums! if it was made clear beforehand, I could've done this ages ago. My wife is here with me at the moments leaving in 2 weeks so hopefully it won't be longer from here.

I think there won't be any updates from Home affairs (New Delhi) as its Diwali in India today and Vishwakarma day tomorrow. These 2 days are national holidays in India and few case officers might extend their holidays this time is quite muchly celebrated in India. (with the exception if they will have to work as it will be working day in Australia)

We submitted an online application (India) on January 14,2019. Received a s56 request form with a pre- assessment notification on 9th October, 2019. We applied for a tourist visa on 5th October and it got rejected. My application is also under further assessment. Please update if you get any improvements on your application.

Hey all you bright people.

I'm in the middle of collecting all the important paper for the 309 application and doing well so far... A couple of questions though...

When you get the 309 granted is there any limitation on when you can move to Aus..? eg can you stay another 2 years in London before moving...?

Do you recommend a solicitor/ immigration expert to go through all your stuff before you apply..? and if you any recommendations on them...?

Cheers,
Soren

As others informed, I think its just simply auto generated email that people receive. It was for few documents that I have already provided except online 40sp (I attached under my name before)
Did you apply Visitor Visa(Family Sponsored)? I have seen lately so many rejections for normal visitor visa! I have applied family sponsored Visitor visa 2 times and got 3 months visa both times. On the other hand take it positive, they might have rejected as its under processing and they might be looking into to go for main visa :)
One of the forum on this site linked with Partner Visa Processing at New Delhi even advised that as soon as processing starts if applicant is onshore, its time to fly straight away back to country as otherwise they will put your file away to wait to for you to come back first!!
