Hello Everyone,

My partner is onshore, and we received an email asking her to leave Australia so that a decision is made on the Partner Visa. Under current circumstances, due to COVID-19, it's not possible to travel to any country.

We notified the case officer, and he has put her application on hold. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi mate

Did they grant you the 309 visa ??

They have put our application on hold until we let them know about our travel plan to exit Australia.

Since you will be attaching scanned images to your application logged through immiaccount it's not necessary to attest copies. However make sure you obtain certified translations of appropriate documents if not available in english.
But they must be scanned in colour

Hmm...I wonder how they assign the applications to which country...It obviously doesn't seem to be depending on your passport country. I thought because we did everything through the agent in Australia it would have been a Sydney office.

We applied in March and they requested medical and biometrics straight away. Heard nothing since. When did you lodge?
Its based on your location not citizenship. The nearest diplomatic mission to your country of residence handling these type of applications

Hi, haha it's fine. Has anyone asked you to provide additional info such as police check, health exam etc?
otherwise, how did you know it's being processed in Guangzhou?
Thanks for your kind explanation! :)

Yes, I received RFI in Jan 2020 (police check, health check, additional docs), all these were done in mid Feb but I haven't heard anything since then. The last updated date is still showing Feb 2020.

I'm based in HK but my application is being processed in Guangzhou because I used to work in a consulate.

I was just wondering how fast Guangzhou is processing applications now as I understand from here that HK seems be doing it very quickly lately.

Thank you! :)

I submitted my UAE PCC at the time of filling for 309/100
I left UAE in 2013 and gave my PCC to IMMI in 2018.

I did not travel to UAE since 2013, I uploaded my new Indian PCC and NPC (Australia) with 100 application

Do I need to re-upload the UAE PCC or will IMMI ask for it again? I think I have lost that PCC now and unable to locate it.
anyone can help?

Online application

Hi Everyone,

I applied for my Temporary partner 309/100 visa online through Immi account. I was in South Africa when I applied and did my medical and biometrics that side. I did not go through an agent or go through the consulate in Pretoria.

My question is : Is my application going to be assessed in Australia directly or will it go through the Pretoria consulate?

Thank you,

Most probably in South Africa consulate where you launched the application.

Sorry if this isn't the place, but I didn't want to keep making new threads to ask questions.

For those of you who have lodged your visa, or those who have had theirs granted, how many statutory declarations did you send, and who did them? I've seen some migration experts (mainly things I've been watching on Youtube, lol) suggest 4 statutory declarations that are not family. For us, I don't even think that's possible so...

My husband is Australian/Canadian and we live in Canada with our daughter, so all he has in Australia is Family, anyone else would be purely an acquaintance (through family members) and wouldn't know much about our relationship to begin with.

We were planning on sending 2, one is his dad, and the other his aunt. Should we be getting more? There would essentially only be his family.

2 is fine. In sime cases they might request 3. If u can get 3, that also good. Dont stress about it 2 or 3 as long as it australian and they know about your relationship. And what they put there must be consistent with what you have told immigration
