Hi. I just completed my online visa application form for 485, and I wanted to attach the documents, but after I submitted my application I only saw the message "This applicant is not required to provide any evidence at this stage based on the information provided within the application. However, the department may request further information from this applicant at a later date", and I did not see any link to attach document.

Is this normal? Does this mean I will have to wait for Immigration to contact me before I can submit my document?

Based on the message, there's no need for you to attach any documents. Just make sure to check your account every now and then as it clearly said they might request further information.
