Hey All,

I am currently organising mine and my fiancé’s application for the PMV and wanted to ask a few questions. Any advice would be super helpful, thank you.

1. Communication: I am wondering how far back they expect you to show communication. My Fiancé and I began talking in 2014 (first met in person Jan 2016) and most of our original communication was via Kik, IRC, & Skype, none which keep their logs (or don’t over multiple computers/phones) and so we have no real proof of our early communication.

What we do have is our WhatsApp log from mid 2016 to present which I’ve downloaded and made a PDF containing 10 messages from every 10 pages (there is 887 pages otherwise), some Hangout logs which are completely muddled and mainly from early 2016/2017 (with five calls from 2014 when we used it temporarily), and a bunch of screenshots of important conversations on kik/text from over the years (e.g. talking about buying my engagement ring).

If we just submit the WhatsApp logs, and the important conversations screenshots, even though most are from 2016 onwards, would this be alright?

2. I am the sponsor and we have an agreement that I will do all the organising of our visa while my Fiancé (the applicant) will pay for the visa. Can I fill out/submit his side of things as he is going to give me all the answers or do they require him to do it? Additionally, will it look odd if our communication evidence is from my side?

I, the sponsor, did all of the PMV applications (Applicant and Sponsor), even the statement that she was supposed to make. But I also explained that I did it, and why I did it.
I also paid for the application.
Thanks for the reply! That is interesting that they were okay with that.

My Fiance is going to write his own statements, but it is good to know I can do the application stuff. I am a university student so I don't have a lot of spare money. We also like to split things as evenly as possible, so our agreement is that I would research and organised, and he would pay.
