I am PR holder living in Australia for 4 months, I want to process visitor visa 600 for my Parents. I am looking for multiple entry visit visa for more than 12 months stay

I have a few questions regarding the process. Please help me in getting answers

  1. Should I submit the application through Online Immi account or VFS Global?
  2. Will Biometric required or not? and if yes can i process them in Lahore, Pakistan?
  3. How much duration of visa will be granted?
  4. As I am sponsoring, how much bank statement shall i show in Australia?
  5. What medical tests/examinations are required?
  6. Will they require police character certificate?
  7. My parents are 72 years old, Will insurance required, If yes should I get insurance before applying for visa or after?

Waiting urgently for responses. Thanks

Last year I applied for my in laws. I try to answer your questions based on that experience. Just bare in mind that it was not their first visit to Australia.

1. IMMI Account
2. It was not required.
3. It was granted for 3 years.
4. I'm not sure about this one. I showed their bank statements as well as ours.
5. It was not required.
6. It was not required.
7. After applying I received an email from the embassy, asking for insurance if I want them to issue a 3 year visa. I arranged the insurance, email back the paperwork.

Hope it helps.

As far as I know subclass 600 is a visitor visa.
The subclass 600 can be any of these streams:

Tourist Stream
Business Visitor
Frequent Traveller
Sponsored Family
Approved Destination Status
