Hi,

My occupation is Software engineer (261313) and it is under SOL.
My partners occupation is Multimedia Specialist-261211 which comes under CSOL and it is accepted only in South Australia.

We both have completed ACS and scored 6 in PTE.
I have filed EOI in Jan 2017 under 190 category also selected Victoria and NSW as my desired state (Different applications). I have gained 65 points when I submitted EOI.

As there is a difference in the state which I apply and partner's occupation accepted state, is there any chance of getting invitation?

Pls clarify my doubt.

Thanks,
Charles

HI Russel,
I have claimed partner score as well as state nomination.
With those points only i could reach 65.

Charles

If your nominated occupation and the occupation for which you claimed partner points were not on the same list when you lodged your visa application, you have a problem.

Hi Russell,
Thanks for the reply.
To be more specific, there are two doubts.

First is about the state which accepts both applicants occupation.
Mine and my partners occupation is in the same list (CSOL), but the state(NSW) which I am applying is not showing my spouses occupation according to the information which i got from anzscosearch
(I dont have the privilege to post URLs)
Spouse's occupation search result :anzscosearch-261212
My occupation search result :anzscosearch-261313
In this case how is the chances of getting invitation from that state?
Secondly:
As the rules changed, my occupation is available only in MLTSSL and partners available only in STSOL. :(
Is this rule change affect my application?

Regards,
Charles
