Hello All ,

If I and my Australian boyfriend will get married in outside Australia (which is my country Philippines) , can we apply for Partner provisional visa even we are not been in a de facto relationship for at least 12 months. ?

If you get married, 12 month de-facto requirements do not apply at time of application.

However, you still need to meet the overall relationship requirements. A marriage certificate by itself is no guarantee that you will get a visa.

My advice: don't rush into anything and get some professional advice first about the best option.

Sometimes you're better off applying for a prospective marriage visa and getting married later.
