I have a quick question. I tried searching the forum for information regarding the Partner (Residence) (class BS)(subclass 801). However, I couldn't find the information that I wanted.

I (sponsor) received this on behalf of my partner this morning and was wondering does this mean she has gained permanent residency?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We received a grant notification saying that my partner was granted a:
Partner (Residence) (class BS)
Partner (subclass 801)

Yes, that is permanent residency. Congratulations !

Make sure to print out a copy of the grant letter and keep in a safe place.

Also note advice about 5 year travel facility and Resident Return Visas.
