Hi everyone,

My girlfriend applied for her Dependent Child Visa (445) with her mother's Partner Visa (309).

Good news is, the mother received her Visa today.

Somewhat bad news is, my girlfriend was not mentioned in her mother's Visa, nor did she receive any news of being granted her own Dependent Child Visa.

From what I've read on the internet is that I believe if they mother is granted their Visa, the daughter automatically is granted her Visa too/the same kind of privileges.

Is there any chance that my girlfriend could receive her visa after her mother?

Could anyone reply to provide some helpful news in regards to if this is true?

She and her mother are arriving in Australia on Saturday 6:45am at the Gold Coast International airport.

Previously, they intended to enter Australia on their old visas (my girlfriend had a student visa). I'm also curious that if she receives her 445 Visa between now and then, is it possible she'll be declined entry into Australia?

Thanks for any help!

A 445 will not be granted unless the 309 has been activated. There is no such thing as an automatic visa grant. From what you have posted, the circumstances of the case are not clear.
