Hi all

Really appreciate forums like this and all the community support.

A possibly strange query, I'm applying to sponsor my partner (309 offshore) so that we can move to Australia to live. My partner, a Canadian- UK dual-citizen sponsored me several years ago to become Canadian permanent resident and I'm now a dual-citizen of Canada and Australia.

We now want to move to Australia and go through the whole process again! Suckers for punishment.

When we provide evidence of our relationship, would it be good to include evidence that my partner sponsored me to live in Canada or would that raise more questions than it is worth?

I can imagine that would help as it is a definite sign of our commitment. But then would immigration think it is strange for one of us to sponsor the other in one country and then do the same thing in Australia?

Appreciate the advice.

I would use it. It shows a mutual commitment to each other.
