Partner visa 309- sponsorship application?

Hi all I submitted my application for my 309 visa close to 6 months ago. When I submitted my application I filled out the "Stage 1- Partner or prospective marriage visa online application" but we didn't fill out the "Sponsorship for a Partner to migrate to Australia" application. Once I started attaching documents to my application I saw in the attachments section there was 100 attachments allowed under my name and 100 documents allowed under my sponsor. Because his name was showing up under my application and attachments under his name I figured there was no need to fill out a separate "Sponsorship for a Partner to migrate to Australia" application. We also filled out the 40sp form in paper, scanned, and uploaded it under his name already, all of this under MY application.

Did I make a stupid mistake by not filling out the sponsorship application as well? I looked on the homeaffairs website partner visa 309 and nowhere does it say the sponsor has to fill out a separate online application or maybe I missed this information somehow? I have had no contact from any CO since submitting and we frontloaded with medicals and police checks as well. Thanks for any advice I'm a bit worried that I should have done this step as well but I didnt find it as a requirement on the website even though both application options are available when submitting online.

Sponsor documents: You can lodge your sponsorship form online after your partner has lodged their visa application and given you their Transaction Reference Number (TRN) or application ID.

You can lodge the form using your partner's ImmiAccount or your own ImmiAccount.

You didn't make a stupid mistake, but you'll probably be asked to do it anyway once they get to your app.
They are in the applicant's app because they want the applicant to answer and they ask again in the sponsor app because they want the sponsor to answer. Having the same questions in both was intentional. Those answers count as the statements so best to just let the sponsor answer the in their own words.
Someone else posted on here recently that they only did the paper form and the CO requested they complete the online form.
That much probably doesn't matter. If it were me I'd prob just leave it as is with that form.
