Hello,

Quick question - with the statement both me and my partner have to make about our relationship, can this just be on normal plain paper or does it have to be on a template? I only ask because I can't find a template so I wanted to double check.

If it's just on plain paper - does a Statutory Declaration need to be filled in and signed by an authorised person to prove the document is legit?

Thanks in advance, any information would be great as this is the last and final thing I need to do!

For my partner visa 820 my partner and i just both typed up a statement each and signed the bottom of our own statements which was fine. But for my 801 application my case officer requested my partner the sponsor fill out a partner visa stat dec which you can get from here.

Could you please link me to the sponsor template form also? Do people still use these as their statements?
Or would it be better to write my own on paper ?
