Does anyone know if my partner that I'm sponsoring can work under bridging visa C. When I handed our paper work in to immi the guy said yes she can work. But we just got a acknowledge letter saying bridging C No work. Does it depend on her previous visa condition?

Also she has a Medicare card now, do I pay for the Medicare fee?
If she has been working with visa c no work could that cause problems for us?

Very worried

Bridging Visa C generally comes with work restrictions and if her letter states she has a work restriction then she should stop work now and apply to have the work restriction removed using form 1005 found on the Immi website. It sounds like she has only just received bridging visa c so it shouldn't be a problem as long as she stops work now.

What visa was she on before?
