When coming to the question "Have any of the applicants lived in a country for more than 12 months cumulatively in the past 10 years?"

does this mean just me (the pom applicant)? or does this include my wife (the aussie)?

Any help very welcome

Hiya. You have to list all of your own countries visited on your application.
BUT when you get to do the sponsor application (the electronic version of 47sp), the question has to be answered from your wife’s perspective ie, all the countries she has visited.
The sponsor application is a separate form and you will need the reference from your primary application to start it off.
It’s one that a lot of people miss as you are not “prompted” to start the sponsor application. I totally missed it and only realised months afterwards.

Just to clarify, the sponsor form is e40SP, not 47SP.

The visa applicant enters the travel and residence details of all applicants included in the application in form 47SP, the sponsor enters their details in form 40SP.

thanks for the advice.

we both travel quite a lot, and i have just completed my section which was 40 overseas trips i the last 10 years, but my wife travels internationally for work, so its going to be a long couple of days for her to recall all the trips she has done, at least we have the joint trips together sorted.

Yeah it’s a pain if you travel or have travelled frequently. 10 years ago I didn’t realise I’d need to jot the dates down lol!
Thankfully Facebook to the rescue covered off some gaps 😊

Hi, complete and submit Form1359 "request for international movements record" which will give you all international travel details.

It won't. It only gives you all travel in and out of Australia. It doesn't list any other countries or the destinations . Just passport, flight number and, in the case of visa holders, the visa details.
