Hai,
I am an Australian permanent resident.
I went to India in Febuary 2006 and stayed back there for 3 and half years.
I was married during my stay. Now that I came back to australia, I and want to apply Partner visa for my wife.I have a child as well.
I thought , i would apply after i get a job and its taking too long to get one.

Now, can anyone suggest how to apply partner visa without Job?
(i.e., applying visa without able to financial support currently).
What is AoS? Does it help me in any way?
If so,what are the pre-requisites and how do i procede?

Can you please help me out?

Thanks,
PRV

Whether your wife can get a partner visa or not [ and your child can be included as a dependant ] is dependant on you showing evidence of the relationship and you ought to have a good read of the eligibility requirements you can find at the Immi site offshore partner visa info where you may have read of the AoS and in Booklet #1.

Depending on how long you have been married and because of having a child your wife and child may be granted PR straight away and so an AoS may not be required.
If they are granted TR and you are requested to get an Assurer, that needs to be someone, a relative or whomever who has a certain income, a minimum of about $25,000 p.a.
The approval of an AoS is by Centrelink and not Immi.
